There r many things in life dat we start hesitatingly or reluctantly to be more appropriate…bt den dey become so much a part of life dat we just cannot live widout dem…Wondering wt i am talking about…Well…heres an example, I got ‘n’ number of invitations to join Orkut bt rejected all…Who had d time for it…social netwrking…as dey publicised….y d hell do i need it….i can easily connect wid all my frnds even now…so y Orkut.
But One Fine Day…i thought i should atleast give it a try…n i was amused to find so many pals dere…My Friend’s Friend Was Also My Friend…Wow…and in less dan a day…i had found so many familiar faces…some of whom i had not even dreamt of meeting again.And by now….Orkut was set as my Home Page!
I Joined…My romie joined…Addiction spread over to other friends in clg…Soon, all my classmates were on orkut …And in less dan a week…Every1 was Addicted to Orkut…It became a platform to send all formal and informal information..and mailing groups were forgotten.And 2day…none of us can survive widout orkut.
Exams came and went away…Bt Orkut Fever was more prominant dan exam fever…No tea breaks during studies bt Orkut Breaks were taking up d time dat should have been devoted to books n padai n previous year papers n Photocopied notes(Getting d notes photocopied, n having all d notes of all kind was a big deal man…dey all seeemed d same to me…and we wasted so many hours waiting for the photocopy vala bhaiya to do it for us)
College Labs were used for not 4 programming or coding but Orkutting!!! Hmmm….teachers strted getting a hint 2…Wondering wt Orkut was all about….dey had nowhere to go bt ask us… 🙂 And soon…Dey ditched us…Orkut was blocked in d Lab…wt a shock it was…ab AI ki class me sach me Predicate Logic pe kaam karna padega kya..we all wondered…Bt 2 aur aid, soon came n number of proxies…every1 had something to contribute here…U block our proxy…we’ll find one more…. 🙂
Not so good frineds became friendly, Scraps frm dem strtd flowing freely…Wid increasing no of Scraps…And increasing no of fans…orkut became more and more a part of daily chores. And den Orkut generated Gossips became d only things we chatted about…And another side affect…all good friends demanded a testi!!!
From being reluctant to join to where i am today….An’ Orkut Addict’, Things hv chnged drastically…And i dont deny loving orkut like many of d diplomats around us do.Wid all d side affects like d extra strain to eyes and back coz of sitting for long hours in front of d pc…I think we all should accept dat we still love orkut!

Orkut Adicts?????we r dedicated users of orkut…we r called adicted to orkut…but as always i say…i m dedicated to it…..

well my home page is not orkut.. but i was fairly addictive to orkut couple of months ago.
The sheer amount of friends on orkut was stagerring.. i have met ppl whom I had no contact for over 10 years. Made new friends.. it was amazing. Even we actually met that way..
I had to physically install a orkut blocker(on my own pc.. removing it was a pain) to get over the habit.. thankfully i am over it… but i still check it daily.

Orkut and the gmail chat window are getting me life…these days..!!! I still believe that this is not toooo good a thing to get involved in… But i can’t keep my hands off orkut!! So as far as something drives and takes me to Orkut..(whatever it is!!) I’ll keep on Orkutting!

Haan ji sahi me orkut has proved to b much more addictive then any other Net based application. it has now become a part of our life whether its in office or Home….
