Udaipur, The City of Lakes

On a cold winter evening, we boarded a RSRTC Volvo from Gurgaon to Udaipur and it proved to be an adventure by itself. My travelogue to Udaipur would be incomplete if I don’t divulge the details of one of the most memorable bus journeys of my life.Hop on to We Are Holidays to read about the trip. And here’s a picture-tale showcasing the City of Lakes.

As always, I wanted to stay there forever and explore nook and corners of this city laden with History. So, I promised myself to be back again, for more.

Thanks Kalpanaa, so happy you liked them. It was cool and blue and sexy during December, when we went there. 🙂

I can't wait to see most of Rajasthan, let alone Udaipur. I have seen terrific pics of Jaipur and Jaisalmer too 🙂

I've been to Jaipur and Jodhpur but still much remains to be seen there. Jaisalmer is in my bucket list and I want to do it this winter. 🙂

You seem to have truly captured Udaipur's beauty in these set of fantastic pics :). I have always wanted to go to Rajasthan but haven't been able to. But seeing your pics, guess I should plan something sooner rather than later.
