Of Life
Carefully hiding
From me
Are back to being
Not so quiet
As I shuffle things
In my closet,
In the drawers and shelfs
Which keep filling themselves
With stuff important,
Not-so-important
And otherwise
As I shuffle things

I find it hard to
Part away with things
Which bring back
Long lost memories
So, I
Contemplate a little
And put them back
Where they belong
Pledging
To give them up
Some other time.
Cleaning my room
Is exactly what
They call
Peeping into the past
And glancing at the future
But cleansing the present
All at the same time
Back and forth
My heart oscillates
Living, Re-living
And dreaming.
