Yet Another Story from the Himalayas

I am afraid of strangers but have to deal with a fair share of unknown people on a daily basis. Everyday, I sit by the side of the road while my parents work at a construction site located in the mighty Himalayas. The view from this location keeps me entertained the whole day. I love watching vehicles traversing the mountain roads. But when I get bored, I turn my back and watch my parents work hard. Sometimes, I want to lend them a hand but they don’t let me. Instead, they want me to go to school. I will go to school someday when I grow up. Till then, I’ll keep watching the mountains till it lasts. While the view on my back is lovely, it is not entirely mine. Someday, when the construction is over and this Nursing College starts operating, I won’t be able to watch the hills from here. Or maybe, I’ll grow up and get an admission. I won’t fix buildings, I will fix people.

so sad, right? I feel sorry for these kids of construction workers who wait all day for their parents and play in dust…I wish they all have a school or something.
